2/29 (putting birds on things)
February photo of the day: words
Not syllables and sounds, but a collection of characters. And—you guessed it—a bird on it!
#instacloth
I'm working on a series of trendy camera app imagery tshirts.
They are basic white tees with (perhaps an overly) filtered image on the chest. My inspiration comes from the trends I saw while visiting AU during the summer months. The first time I spied one of these tees in Melbourne I was convinced that apps now have the functionality to Save To Tshirt. Woah, our iPhones are revolutionizing fashion too! ::updates status and posting pic to Path::
The shirts are called #instacloth
The first shirt, Sunday, is for sale by Redbubble.

I'm in a bathroom that looks like this:
Somewhere in Melbourne?
Color of 2012!
Tangerine Tango, Pantone 17-1463. With a side of teal, because everyone loves contrast.
Color & type in the city
Found at Myer, my second favorite palette for fall.
Found at grill'd, interesting type choice.

Filters (I mean, camera apps) seem to be all the rage and are making news:
Hipstermatic in SF
Instagraming social network
Sadly, I have used my Nikon a totally of once so far while on holiday. Now my iPhone 4S is ruling my photography life, I'm editing with Camera+.app and sharing with Batch (pretty much due to laziness and/or convenience). Today I went hybrid and played with Hipster.app and added some dazzle with Photoshop (the IRL/not-iOS-version).
The Song of Wandering Aengus
I adore beer & wine bottle labels. So much so that I'm not only collecting them, I'm dressing up like them ^^ (And, if you're anything like me, you too make your beverage purchases based on the packaging design. Y'know, it's logical.)
Before any glass bottles are tossed into the recycle bin, save the sticker!
Easy: fill up the sink or a pot with hot water and soak the bottle for a bit (fill the bottle so it sinks), and the label will safely peel off in one piece! Beware that the glue may still be a bit tacky.
I love/hate Helvetica
Happy New Calendar! Massimo Vignelli from Crate & Barrel. MMmmhm. And say hi to my few friend, Rue Cat.)

Circus Circus. Dirty, low minimum bets, & footlongs.
Huge interactive type, yes please!
The M&M store has the complete rainbow of chocolate covered candies. I needed olive and mustard, my current favorite palette.
In reality, he eventually had exactly zero riches, and his entire life was inventoried and auctioned off. So, to be more accurate, this machine should rewards winners with paint brushes, silk scarves & fancy hats.
Faux France
Faux France even has a Hector Guimard nouveau style metro shelter. If I'm not mistaken, there is only one original still in use today. I'll have to go to France to confirm :)
Jenny-approved gambling
Even the Beatles have a Cirque du Soleil show. Now available on iTunes.
